My neighbor just got a new Ioniq 5 Limited, its very sharp...
As for the above, yeah dealers suck. Why didnt they just trade you out of it?
Because they are pure lying scum bags looking for short term gains. I've called them at least three or four times and they don't even have the courtesy to get back to me. They lost my future business, and so has Hyundai
I tried this last night and it does not open when tapped even with the doors unlocked.
I figured it out. You actually have to press hard, as there is an actual button underneath... the same one used to close it. Tesla you just touch it lightly or use the button on the charger
You are way more patient than me. I will never buy a car from a dealership again and now refuse to help anyone do it. I'm done.
I have no choice but to be patient. My choices are kind of limited. I'm going out of town tomorrow, but if they haven't called me by end of day Friday, I'm going down there personally on Tuesday. I'll also be filling complaints with the department of justice consumer division, and the DMV. Probably won't do much, but it will at least keep them busy having to answer paperwork

My neighbor with the Ioniq 5, she leased it Sunday night and left it until Tuesday because a piece of trim was damaged and needed to be replaced. She picked it up Wednesday unrepaired, because they ordered the wrong part, and mysteriously it had been driven 13 miles. Supposedly “it just sat inside in the service bay”

Someone at the dealership "borrowed" it to run an errand or make a lunch run or something like that. One of my friends had a dashcam on his Honda, he told me when he checked the video memory, one of the mechanics took it for an errand....
If you are shopping for a Hyundai, avoid Capital Hyundai, they are a bunch of scumbags. Basically, they lied straight to my face when they told me that I could get out of my 2020 Ioniq lease early. Here is the bill I received from Hyundai Finance:
so besides what they 'said', i'm assuming there's some fine print you missed (or wasn't in there backing up what they said) in all their 'paperwork'?
look at it this way, you got the old ioniq for peanuts, and you got an ioniq 5 for half the lease rate of a tesla, so 2k in the scheme of things is nothing.
