ML speaker on back order
The rear door speaker in my 2022 UL 300h only puts out very faint and muffled sound. I have the Mark Levinson system. Dealer says I need a new speaker and they ordered one the first week of January. Two months later and still no speaker. I am in Canada and wondering if you guys in the States have similar experience with backorder parts.
North America (and some other markets) are all sharing the same parts inventory pool if the part is back ordered for you it's the same for others. I suspect this part is the same for all markets, also it is out of stock at every vendor I checked.
Global supply chain as a whole has rebounded a good bit from the last couple years, but still not "normal". I filed a claim to have my wife's RX windshield replaced about two months ago and was told they might be in by ....August. This was from Safelite, who are going to put an oem replacement, so I called two local Lexus dealers and they both told me the same thing.
My son-in-law owns two Matco Tool routes and his shops can't get parts to repair cars. Some of his shops are ordering parts through Amazon so they can get their customers back on the road.
The parts shortage is worldwide. I'm on a Corvette forum and some people there have bought new C8s, had issues that required parts, and went through the Lemon Law to do a dealer buyback because the dealer can't get parts.

Yes I suspected this is a global issue. Guess I'll just have to wait it out. If the car wasn't under warranty I would have just replaced it myself. My bigger concern is that once they replace the speaker they might find that its actually an amp or head unit problem and have me to go through this fiasco again

Exactly the reason I got rid of my 2024 F Sport. The electrical problems started with the nav system and then went into my Levinson system.

I did get the amp replaced, if I remember correctly, about a month or so later. No issues after replacement. Now going on almost two years since replacement and no more issues so I am pleased with that. Otherwise the ES has been very good for me.
