Recently sat on a 2022 Yukon denali.

That HUD was big and clear.

Has anyone been able to mess with the HUD and get a better rotation angle?
(Mine seems to stay at a -1° to -2° off) so it doesnt sit level with how i see the road.

And ive looked but dont see a way to increase the size.
Is there a magnifying sheet or something i could use?
Any suggestions? I find the hud super helpful but drains my eyes.

Although it isn't much (± 3° IIRC), you can adjust the HUD rotation. The adjustment means is found buried in a submenu of the Multi Information Display Vehicle Settings (the gear icon) menu, under the Vehicle Settings submenu, under the HUD submenu of that submenu you'll find a Rotation submenu that when selected will result in the screen with the rotation adjustment controls.

On my 2019 ES, I've set the rotation adjustment to the maximum allowed clockwise rotation adjustment. With that and I suppose getting use to it, I no longer get that HUD "it isn't level" nagging irritation.

There are also controls to adjust the vertical position and brightness of the HUD. The controls are located by selecting the HUD Brightness/Position menu item of the initial gear icon menu items list.

NOTE: The initial menu list has quite a few items so you'll need to scroll down the menu list to find desired menu items to select.

If a video on locating and operating the HUD controls would help, the HUD vertical and brightness control and operations are at the 31:18 time mark and the HUD rotation control and operation is at the 35:58 time mark of Northside Lexus's Melissa O'Connell's video:

As to increasing the size, you're correct that's there's no built-in means of adjusting the size. I'm not sure using an external means of magnification would work that well. The larger the size the more variation of windshield curvature you're dealing with which also means more variation in angles of incidence, optical paths, and optical path distances than the HUD optical system was designed to accommodate for a minimal distortion of the projected image.

Thank you i did look through this video and a few others. Even some for the LC but for me it is just a slight tilt off.
im looking at the opening to the HUD and taking measurements. Im gonna make a fit in magnifier with one of the magnifying sheets.
Im doing the measurements myself since i couldnt find info on the opening.

Wish me luck maybe we can all enjoy a bigger HUD.
Im looking to make it just a tad bigger. So im using the 2x sheets first.

My 21 ES300H ultra has the same issue and also distorted looking. It needs to be rotated more counterclockwise. I have it rotated to the left max.

The 22 ES HUD is much improved. My father just picked up his ES300H Ultra and it’s clearer and positioned properly.

I’m going to bring mine into the dealer and see if I can get it replaced with the 22MY part.

There is a Keystone adjustment too but you need a Carista dongle or I'm sure the dealer can do it.

This is a known issue. Manual even says one might have to remove their sunglasses to see the HUD.

I rarely use sunglasses.
i did start using transition glasses (green tint version) but my complaint isnt that i dont see it.
Cause i do.

its just small.
If i could scale it just a little bigger.
Lets say it was a1"x2".
And i could make it.
1.5"x2.5" it would make a big difference for me to be anle to focus both on the readings and the road

Note:
I did move the HUD display all the way up but it makes the HUD tilt further around 3-4° off instead of 1-2°.
Which is pretty extreme if you ask me.

Now if they could only improve the clarity/resolution of the backup camera I would be happy.
