Is it me or the AC fan in these cars loud it just seems to be ramped up at the high-speed Once you turn the AC on I don't understand why it needs to spin so fast all the time. I don't think anything's wrong with it I believe it's just the way it's designed butt dam

Are your cooled seats on high? If so, they're noisy but I don't find the regular climate control noisy once the car reaches set temp.Originally Posted by lovemyGSFS

Are one or more of the dash vents closed completely? Even one fully closed will really make the
remaining open ones noisy. Check and just crack open each of them a bit. Recall that the Auto
function of the HVAC is trying to achieve the temp number you dialed in, if it is 80 degrees ambient
and you ask for 72 cabin you are going to get a bunch of fan until the cabin cools.

It isn’t something I have noticed. To be fair, we always have the stereo on and the windows are typically rolled up, particularly when running the AC. I just wouldn’t hear the sound of the fan you are referring to. I’m not saying it isn’t unusually loud, just that I haven’t personally noticed anything out of the ordinary. Do you notice this most when indoors or near a wall? I've honestly never noticed it, and in some cars I do.Originally Posted by lovemyGSFS
