I have the same issue. Drives me crazy. Taking to dealer for 5K service next week and will address it then. Mine is a combination of the sun roof area and the grab handle on passenger side.

I know the feeling it’s annoying. Does yours happen when weather is cold? To be honest it drove me so nuts I pulled the molding and stuffed it with fine towel and noise has been gone for few days now. In my case I knew dealer wasn’t gonna be any help. Good luck and keep me posted with your situation.

I’m in Texas so not that cold I. Winter. I bought the car last February. Very annoying indeed. My passenger door grab handle also makes noise. They should replace it as the springs are worn. I’ll keep u played after my 5K mole service next week.

Nice! Definitely something loose inside, mine hasn’t made a noise since my home repair. I just want to know what was causing this. Hope they fix yours and give you details on the repair.

Could it be the interface between the grab handle base and the headliner? The 6ES had this problem on early cars. I stuffed some felt between the metal part on the grab handle and the headliner to get rid of the rattling noise.

Lexus never learned?
