Since the car (450h) was new, I could hear a creaking noise coming out of the passenger side vent on the far right side. I can cause the noise by changing the temperature setting on the passenger side. I can hear it whenever the car is adjusting the vents inside.

During my 10K service the service guy said that it was normal and that he checked another car on the lot and it did the same thing. I think I will challenge this at my 15K service. The noise is irritating and, in my opinion, not at a quality level expected by Lexus.

The servo on my driver's side had a similar noise (but more like a ball bearing "clank" sound). I complained and the dealer replaced it. No noise now.
