mudf guards on the 2019
Finally got the chance and the weather to install mud guards on my new 2019 UL 350. I only did the fronts as the boss has me peeling potatoes for the Easter dinner tomorrow.
I was able to utilize the existing factory fasteners, one was a push clip and the other a hex head screw. FYI - the Lexus clip is very easy to get out with a clip removal tool - about
$3.00 on Ebay. Without the tool one can use a flat head screwdriver to slip it under the clip head, pop it out carefully, then remove the bottom part. They can then be reused.
For the rear guards to be installed the wheels will have to be removed.

Thanks for your posting. I have been waiting to see how this was done, before ordering the parts. I am concerned about removing the rear wheels, which I really don't want to manage. I was hoping that I could use the clips and possible screws with a ratchet wrench to maneuver inside the wheel well.

If possible I would like to also avoid removal of the wheel. Raining here today and family over so no mud guard work today... I'll post when I do it... The fronts took me no more than 30 minutes...

I may or may not have a Torx head. What size would I need? For the price of doing this myself, I might just go buy it.

Mud guards look good. How did the potatoes come out though?

We had a beautiful day here in Southampton so I tried installing the rear mud guards since the fronts are on. The good news is that there is no need to drill any holes anywhere back there. There is a factory clip at the top which just pops out with a clip remover or a thin flat blade screwdriver. Pop the head off the clip and the base slides right out. At the bottom is a factory plastic grommet that accepts the galvanized screw that comes with the mud guards. Both holes in the mud guard line up with both holes in the rear wheel well shield.
The bad news is that the rear wheel must be removed. Not easy on your driveway... I jacked up the rear of the car and removed the tire to get at the lower screw. No way to get it fastened w/o the wheel being removed... These wheels and tires must weigh 100 pounds. Anyway, the install was a success, the guards look great, and no modification to the car was necessary.
The hardest part was getting the wheel BACK ON the lug nuts.
