I wish this was true "A 12.3-inch multimedia display will be standard on all ES models". Almost everything else says it is not. I found the link below which it is all broken out. Upset that I have to spend almost 6k to get the 12.3 display!

So basically they say the Hybrid will start 42k but you cant find any less than 50k? Interesting.

It's good to see more information on the 7th gen ES coming out. I'll be taking a close look at them as a possible replacement for our current sedan. Equipped the way I want it looks like a new ES would be pushing $50k which puts it close to some other cars of interest worth considering.

P.S. Comfy is in all caps bec I'm sick of all those car manufacturers trying to make every car a sports car...Hopefully Lexus has not taken that route with the new ES.

I know this is a Lexus forum, but out of curiosity, which other vehicles would you consider in this price range? Reason I'm asking is because I'm looking for something new, luxurious, COMFY, and high tech. To me it seems like this new ES is the only one so far that hopefully might check all the boxes.

I'll likely stick w/the Lexus for its unparalleled reliability... But I can see why others would want to pick the German competitors.

Positive.. but it was a 2017. However I will concede you the point that one exceptional deal it sorta pointless to the topic. Also Lexus MSRP at 50k does not count the likely 10% or so discount many will receive. In the end the German competitors is still around 10k more and its up to us to decide which one fits our needs.
