Default Finaly tinted

Usually the first mod I make on any car/truck I buy is Tint!

I waited a bit longer than usual before pulling the trigger. No reason other than a busy life. Glad I did. I read a thread somewhere here that recommended Ceramic. I had also talked to my boss who had a very cool looking tint. Turns out its ceramic.

It cost a bit more than normal tint. But, fellers... its worth it. I did Ceramic 35. Wow. It looks so nice.

I just had ceramic tint installed as well. The heat rejection property is well worth the extra cost. Love it!

Congratulations!

Ceramic here too, including the windshield and it makes a huge difference, especially here in Florida. Not cheap at around $900 but the windshield alone was about 30% of the cost.

In on ceramic crew. I got it mostly for function but can't deny it elevated the look of the car, any car really. First time with windshield tint and it makes a big difference without sacrificing much in terms of vision. I can still easily see at night

$900 Wow!! I spent $420 for all windows except the windshield.

I have never done windshield tint. Anyone have pics from outside and inside?

Yep, $900. This was for 2-ply nano ceramic. Without the windshield film, if memory serves, it would have been around $550.

Everyone recommends ceramic nowadays. No good reason for anything else.

I did 70% on the WS. That's almost nothing so looking outward is no different to me. From the outside looking through WS, you'll notice just a tiny hint of tint. If you go any darker, say 35 or 20%, that's too dark to drive at night IMO.

Do you get a slight tinge or purple in certain light looking through the windshield? I did 70% as well and could swear there some purple going on.

I did 60% ceramic on the windshield and there is only a slight tint of purple in spots with polarized lenses and even some non-polarized lenses. To the naked eye it's pretty clear, slightly darker of course, but very clear. Doesn't distort colors really, except white cars may look a slight pink or purple lol
