I have a question maybe can help me with. I have a 2021 ES350, the driver side windshield wiper blade does a great job cleaning the windshield going from the hood area to the outside of the windshield however on the return the wiper leaves a water smear in the center of the windshield wiper about 6-10 inches long just in the center of the blade. Lexus has changed the wipers three times and the new blades do fine for about two rainstorms then the swear is back. Any ideas? Lexus does not fix the problem they just replace the wiper blades. Thanks for any help. Oh yes this has happened since it was new.

I'm thinking your windshield is contaminated. Try to clay bar the whole thing and see if that fixes the issue. If that doesn't then your next time could be a more aggressive approach and using glass polish.

I'd do regular rubbing compound or even just regular polish even before resorting to glass polish. that's a good idea to do anyway once in a while as that rubber can embed itself into the glass if you use the wipers a lot. also all the other stuff that gets on the glass.
then if not... as said start with the wiper arms. maybe remove and reset them. then if not, replace windshield. start with easiest/cheapest and work your way up the chain.
