Hey all, I'm new here. Just picked up a 2019 ES350 for my fiance and I to share. I'm coming from a 2020 Mustang GT, so it's a big change for me (but quite pleasant so far!)
Just a quick question - I've done some searching, but I can't seem to find the appropriate part number for the Lexus card key that matches my car. Would anyone happen to have it?
that thing came out in like 2011 (if not earlier) with no updates since... and no one really uses it. kind of an old relic.
but i believe you can find it on ebay and/or your dealer if you really wanted one.
Speak for yourself! I use it exclusively. Very convenient. A person has the right to make up their mind whether it’s right for them. I thought you would have more of an appreciation for old relics!

I'll plead guilty as charged to relicdom, but... I didn't ask for the card key, but it was one of the options inflicted on me. Turns out it's the only car key I use. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have volunteered to pay for it. It may be old lame low tech, but it also keeps me from having to grab my wallet AND my key on the way out the door, and that simplfies my life by one step. I'm good with it.

A quick search online shows things like this: For a 2020/21 the part number might be: HYQ14CBM 89904-48X70. There are a number of sites that have the fobs but the keycards are more limited. This is just one site I found (not going to spend to much time, but Google will help you - or just call the Lexus parts department!). https://www.key4.com/lexus-smart-car...cbm-8990448x70

I have deep dived into this across several forums. The keycard came out in 2020+. No one that I know of has taken the effort or the resources ($$) in attempt to program a keycard for a 2019 ES. In theory it should work. I myself would spend the money if I absolutely knew it would work.

I would like to know myself, the 6th gen had the “smart access” key car but in my research ‘19-‘20 seem to not get this option period but either 21 or 22 it became an option to get I don’t understand how my 2020 wasn’t able to get one as I went to a couple of dealership for them to tell me my ES doesn’t do it

Sorry guys. Keycard, Card key. You know what I meant. Same thing.
