I think I may start looking in another direction. The Genesis G70 has caught my eye
G70 is nice and I considered it before buying my ES. The downsides - no backseat legroom and both turbos 4 or 6 require premium fuel. Hyundai depreciation is awful as well so once you buy it, you better keep it awhile or you will take a bath. The G80 is actually more comparable to the ES and for 2021, its a brand new design.

The G70 is a great product, the dealership experience however negates that for the most part. I would explore other dealerships on the ES and explore your local genesis dealer.

Yeah most Genesis dealers are Hyundai as well so your $70K G80 may be parked next to the $15K Accent

I totally agree with the multiple dealer approach, I also agree with the give/take approach. Most all dealers will be willing to come down ,but ,usually not as much as you'd like. So...it all depends on how bad I want that car....Or be willing to walk away. Any dealer that wants to play hard ball...doesn't want to sell the car very bad. Curious as to if SRNP11891 bought the car or not?

Negative. We are still at 39K total out the door WITH my 4K trade in so we are still apart on pricing k
