Default Weird Braking?

Anyone else have weird braking where it feels like sometimes it sticks or bites harder than it should. The brakes on mine are very sensitive slowing down but small movements like backing up into garage will be extremely sharp.

It's a hybrid!

The physical brakes will not engage in many situations and the motor/generator will slow the car down.

The computer will decide when to apply the brakes to maximize the regenerative braking.

Does that apply to situations where the car is already fully stopped and you want to navigate within a couple of feet afterwards? Because in those instances the brakes are extremely jerky, not sure how that is normal when I drove a Honda Hybrid and it didn't exhibit nearly the same abrupt motion.

Brakes are very sensitive and so is the accelerator when backing into the garage.

It's a brake by wire car. I'm still learning how to use brake and accelerator when parking.

Yes I experience this during small movements like backing into a space or maneuvering at very very slow speeds (like when parking etc). The brake pedal kind of sticks or jabs, very sharply. Doesn't engage smoothly like my other Lexus hybrids (and yes i'm aware of how hybrid braking system works--this isn't that) I believe it's the way how the braking system is tuned. For 2022, apparently the ES300h will get a retuned braking system for smoother feel. Maybe that's what is being addressed. If it's just software, I hope earlier models can get an update.
