Is this normal to you guys? mine isn't even at all. The left side looks flush but the right one is not and too much space and higher. Please could you check yours and let me know if this is normal. Thanks
My 2019 F-Sport is all symmetrical. No unusual gaps. Made in Kentucky.
I assume you are the original owner and the car is new based on the mileage on the odometer. Perhaps something was found to be amiss at the port or at the dealership with the airbag or within the steering column that made it necessary to disassemble. Don't think that would show in the service history but I would inquire nonetheless. Definitely complain to the dealer. I can live with a bit of imperfection but that gap to the left in the yellow circle is especially unacceptable.
My 2019 UL ES 350 steering wheel is about as perfect as can be. Born in Kentucky, U.S.A. However, as I've previously stated in other posts, IMO no car comes off the assembly line 100% perfect without a flaw, major or minor.
I can't imagine I'd notice any of those imperfections honestly but I'm not particularly OCD in that regard. I'm going to look at mine later just out of curiosity.
The gaps are all nicely aligned and look good in our ES. I am definitely OCD enough that I would have noticed it - but I went out and checked just to confirm. I don't believe for a moment this has anything to do with country of origin. This simply wasn't assembled properly from what I can tell by evaluating your pictures (just my opinion of course). I would consider returning to the dealer and having them compare it to other ESs on the lot if they have any doubts or questions.

I just looked at mine as well and it's total symmetry.
Thanks guys,
It's not only mis-align but also the gap are so different on both side. And the part near the paddle shifters on both side are not balance. The one on the right is way up higher, the one on the left is perfect.
I bought the car back in July 2020 and I'm sure it's made in Kentucky.
