Hi All,

I got the F sport 2 version. According to the website, it should have compass on the mirror.

I tried holding the power button as instructed by the manual and it didn't work. Are you guys having the same issue?

Do you have navigation? If you have navigation you won’t have a compass mirror in pretty sure.

 

On board navigation vehicles do NOT have the compass in the mirror. NON on board navigation vehicles DO have the compass in the rear view mirror.

 

I understand the logic of that, however, according to Lexus.ca, f sport 2 comes with rear view mirror with compass...
isnt that false advertisement?

 

Its just an error in the way the packages are described.

 

Compass isn't listed as standard on my 19 F and the option is dimming mirror with homelink.

It does list it on the Canadian site, mistake or not.

 

What is a F sport 2 version? like they have different versions of F sport?

 

In canada, they have f sport one and f sport 2.
If you look at their website.. it's weird how they do it.. the wordings for f sport one have "remove" on it.. very confusing .

i will ask my dealership about it.. maybe it's a typo, but that doesn't mean it's not false advertising. Let me see what they say

 

Its not false advertising lol. The dealership doesn't control what's on Lexus' website. What does your window sticker say?

 

I'm curious about how many compasses one needs. If you have a navigation system equipped car, the navigation system includes a compass, and, if you have the head's up display, I believe that it also has a compass available.

 

And a compass can be displayed in the instrument cluster

 

The dealership also have that on the car description.
The rearview mirror doesn't say there's a compass.

I understand it isn't much, but if it say it does.. shouldn't it come with it?
Lexus website says there is... Dealership website say there is. The actual product doesn't come with it.
if US doesn't have it, it doesn't mean Canada automatically don't have it right? Just like how Europe have heated back seat but not NA

What does it say on the car's window sticker? The dealership just copies the description from the manufacturer.
