Is this the proper amount of real estate for the back up camera image?? I somehow think it took up the whole 12.3” screen before.

 

That is normal operation, it has never taken the entire display.

Yes the camera takes about 2/3 of the image. If you have the panoramic view that takes the rest of the image (1/3) alongside the backup camera image. Lexus could ha e added a higher resolution front and backup camera, but they did not want to spend the extra few bucks for it
