My wife's 2019 ES had a recent situation happening with no answers so far from anyone. She will have the switch ON for High Beams automatically coming on when the area is dark, etc. For no reason, the Green Automatic Indicator Light showing it is operational, will go off, then come back on sometimes 10 minutes later or not at all. When the Green Auto Beam goes off, the high beams cannot be operated manuall let alone not operational in the auto mode.. We found that by clicking the Auto Button on and off after two or three times will activate the system again. I have the same system in my LS 500 and never an issue. Anyone else experience this? Solutions? Most appreciative.

 

Looks to be defective. Best if you let the dealer address it under warranty.

 

Similar issue with the RX line as well. Seems that system is quirky but I've never experienced in either one of our cars.

 

Thanks for the quick responses. The dealer took care of checking wiring that may have been loose. Clean out area and eliminated too much grease in the are of the connectors inside the steering wheel which houses the wiring and the high beams for the auto high beam system. Will see if it works over the next few days. I heard about it happening in the IS 300 2018 just today.
