Default Calling with carplay

So I have been driving the ES350 for the last 2 months almost. When using carplay to call my wife, she would always complain that she couldn't hear me but no one else ever had a similar complain. No issues when using the car's Bluetooth to call. Anyways it happened few more times with other people. I have now realized that the people who are having issues hearing me when I call using carplay have an android device. No issues when calling apple phones. Anyone else having the same problem?

Yes, I have the same issue. More than likely it's a bug with iOS 13. Hoping they release an update soon to patch it. Try doing a hard reset usually that fixes some issues. I'm in the habit now of doing a hard reset once a day.

iOS 13.2 is now out maybe that will fix the issue.

Yes, hard reset your phone. I updated my phone to iOS 13.2 and it fixed the issued. I have owned Apple iPhones for over 10 years now and it's very common for early versions of iOS to have bugs.

Doesn't that put your iPhone back to the way it was when you bought it including deleting all your downloaded music, etc?

No, that's called restoring. A hard reset is similar to turning off your phone but more effective. The process varies depending on which iPhone you have. A simple search will provide the correct steps for your device.
