Is this new with the 2019 ES? Or was it on older models too?

IIRC you could option for an automatic opener and closer with the key fob. For 2019 Lexus added the kick sensor as an option. I don't believe that the kick option was available on previous MY cars. As far as adding it to a 2018, anything is possible with enough money. I would think that it would be very expensive as an add-on...

I thought it was just another toy, but really use it all the time. Love the power closer as well.
