Lexus Enform Remote

Default Lexus Enform Remote

I have a question regarding adding a vehicle to my account in Lexus Enform Remote. I already have an account at My Lexus Enform. When I activate my Lexus Enform Remote, it asked me to add an vehicle. When I click Add Vehicle, it directed me to the My Lexus Enform website and asked me to login. I logged in using my existing account. Of course there is already a vehicle in my My Lexus Enform account. Then what? I cannot add the vehicle twice and no instruction further. There is still no vehicle added in my Enform Remote. The Lexus Enform Remote apps did not synchronize anything from My Lexus Enform. How do I add the vehicle then?

The Enform Remote app has shown itself to be far from the most perfectly working app. Many have had a variety of issues ranging from getting the app to work properly to being able to register vehicles.

My suggestion would be to contact the tech specialist at a Lexus dealer and to solicit his/her help in resolving your issue. With the various problems that have come up with the Enform Remote app, the tech specialists have had lots of experience with trying to solve those problems, and, even if they can't figure out how to solve a problem, they have contacts whose help can quickly resolve most problems.

I had the same problem when I went from the 2014 to the 2017. I couldn't get the account to acknowledge the 2017 even though I no longer owned the 2014. I had to open up a new account with a different email than the existing account. That worked for me. Or do what Lesz said and hopefully a tech can work a fix for you.

I have had similar challenges - and don’t think just because you have them properly registered that they will remain registered. Our local technology expert couldn’t help. It is really more of a title than the advanced training you would hope for. Anyway they referred me to Lexus customer service and after a number of calls they finally got us straightened out. It didn’t help that we have two currently registered and one previous Lexus. Anyway, my advice is take a deep breath, plan to be patient and call Lexus Customer service. I believe the number is tel:18002553987.

My experience was exactly the opposite. I made multiple calls to Lexus customer service, including a couple in which I was transferred directly to someone who was allegedly an Enform Remote specialist, and none of those calls resulted in getting my account properly activated so that the app would work. When I finally called the tech specialist at the Lexus dealer, he told me that he would work directly with one of his contacts at Lexus, and, 24 hours later, everything was working properly.

My guess is that the tech specialists at some Lexus dealers have more knowledge and know better how to solve problems than do other tech specialists.

Glad to hear you had a positive experience Les. I do see a common thread from your experience though. The local technology experts may not have the required skills or access to configure our accounts. They have to work with Lexus customer support to get things resolved. Who knows how many calls or interactions they conducted to get your registration set up. I wonder if the main takeaway might be that some dealership tech specialists will work harder than others on our behalf. It may be more about resourcefulness than knowledge.

When I went from my 2015 to my 2016 I had the same problem. When I spoke w/ Lexus they said I had to have my account deleted and create a new one. I didn't use the app enough to justify the hoops required to accomplish this so my 2016 remains unregistered, lol. Apparently this is a widespread issue that Lexus should definitely look into.

A pleasant update:
Lexus called me today asking my email. I gave them the same email with my Enform account. Then the Enform Remote apps worked.

Got the same issue, but I waited for 15 minutes, closed the apps and refresh it and it showed my car is registered. After that, everything works perfectly. Very cool.
