Default Spotify Audio Skipping

New to me 24 ES350 UL model. This Spotify audio "skipping" is killing me and would love to find if this happens to anyone else. This is with wireless Android Auto and a Google Pixel 5 phone. Worked fine in my previous car and it's not cell coverage related, happens everywhere but most often in the first 10 min of driving. If I try a wired connection, Android Auto does not even come up, needs to be wireless apparently. Does every other ES work fine with Android Auto and Spotify? Please chime in.

Some Spotify forums seem to think it's the "Start a Jam" feature on Spotify whereby it it looks for other bluetooth signals to start a Jam session but I'm not super confident in that. Thanks for listening...

Use Spotify daily in my 23 ES350 via Apple CarPlay and no issues.

I see this with my Pixel 9 and wireless Android Auto all the time. It's a phone issue I believe because I also see it on my Ford Expedition when just using Bluetooth and no wireless Android Auto (note both wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple Carplay use Bluetooth under the hood). Android's Bluetooth software is crap

I use it with Android as well - through BT in my ES since it doesn't have AA but works perfectly in my wife's RX with AA.

22 ES and s25 ultra, no issues at all.

Try clearing the cache of your Spotify app and see if that helps. Could also clear the cache of Android Auto
