maybe op is referring to the wheels. i THINK they are RX wheels, but i'm not 100% on that.

I think you're right our 2017 RX had wheels like that. 20". Looks good on the ES as well. Plenty of sidewall so those that are scared of potholes have nothing to worry about

i think the side profile looks "over-wheeled" with 20s. 19s are the perfect max diameter of the wheel.

I agree. 18s can get by, 17s look ridiculous.

I was given a base ES as a loaner when my wife's NX was being serviced and it had 17". It does ride a little smoother especially on bumps. It feels a little livelier too when launching. My ES has 18" and feels just a little better with handling.

underwheeled>overwheeled, IMO. as long as you have fat tires. a fat tire ES looks kinda cool. and at the very least, has some functionality to it (comfortable ride). also probably excusable for winter / dirt road driving.

Now that Ford Tempo reminds me of my '99 Avalon.
If we could just get the 8ES to look that way and drop in the V6, I'd be over the moon happy
