Question Chrome tail light trims

Anyone tried something or similar to these?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/29683278627...7PH83036S5KPDE

It looks like the chrome pieces they are selling is a different colour than the existing factory trim but can't tell.

This was an option in Japan. In my opinion they look out of place.

Interesting. Didn't know Lexus offered it.
In that case, it shouldn't be too out of place then right?

I am often against mods like this but for some reason I really like it...
This explains why it was offered as an option from factory haha.

It is an add on that gives the ES a taillight treatment like the LS. I agree it is a bit much, but I do like added chrome and I have added some myself (rocker molding and door handle chrome trim that is official Lexus but only in Japan). To each his own, I guess. At lease, I feel, it is more in keeping with the character of the car as opposed to trying to make it look like a sports car with lowered suspension and big tires.

Thanks..
I was just about to also mention. They got the idea from LS.
I think i might buy one and give it a go.
The only issue is it is made in China and not sure of the quality.
Is there a Japanese version of it or a genuine one then if Lexus offered it?

Dont get it. if it's not integrated into the bumper properly (or the light) it looks weird. looks like an ebay add on or something that some universal part company madeup

There was a thread containing this product, one of our members has several pics of his. I'm too lazy to look, but it's out there.
