Yes, less dust, and I understand having ceramic pads. But what is the point having drilled and slotted rotors?
Drilled is basically for looks but slotted is great they cut the pads if/when any inconsistencies on the surface develops. May decrease pad life slightly. Don't knock that kit and ones like it until you try it way better than OEM which frankly on a modern Toyota/Lexus is nothing special.
For example? Do you own a set? I've never seen Centric slotted and drilled only one or the other. I have a set of slotted Centric they are a good product, a slight hum on hard braking not that I care they have good bite.

I had Centric drilled on my e39. They were noisy.
Also, look at the Mercedes cars with drilled rotors. The grooves are enormous and because of the cracks I replace them very often.

I don't recommend Centric anymore the ones I have were new/old stock they are good quality.
edit - R1 Concepts rotor with Akebono ACT pads after about 2.5 years great rotors. No rust even after salt exposure including in the holes and slots.
The Automatic Parking Brake is not contributing to the brake wear, it applies pressure to the pads when the rotors are not turning, no friction involved.
I personally miss the "hand brake turns" that conventional lever action applied while moving...sideways... but that is not happening here.
Nice thread on the slots and vents discussion, thanks.
