Quote: Mild refresh but I do like the full light bar in the rear. I'd like a better look at the front bumper and also the interior.
If the new lights fits on my 2023, I'd like to do the upgrade with the factory part if it is possible. Who knows.

Quote: Which begs the question, will the IS also get a mini refresh..
it already got two refreshes for a total of three styles. how many do you need? lol

as for this "spy shot," looks like the same old model but some foreign spec where they added a lightbar and a couple of dabs of plastic on the front bumper cover. foreign spec ESes already got a couple do-dads here and there added on, that's different from here, for years. like for example the one sold in saudi arabia comes with a bunch of chrome on the side since 2018-2019.

Mini refresh as in the interior gets a bit of an update. Everything else stays the same.

Would be interesting to see if it's possible. There are kits out there to add the light bar, but way too much wiring work. So if it works, I'm going to take on that mod too using stock parts.

I've done multiple aftermarkets in my previous cars. Carplay module on my audio, light kit on my previous cars. They don't last and are always messy. I've even done aftermarket fog lamps and the guy did such a horrible job and put an on-off switch on the car. I then upgraded my audio on my Toyota Solara by showing him my BMW 650, and that too was a mess. Since then I decided that I won't mod my car unless its genuine parts.

It’s not, as I pointed out above.

As long as the Lexus Safety System+ is upgraded to 3.0 and the powertrain is upgraded to 5th gen hybrid, minor refresh is acceptable to me. Also, hopefully, the production of Lexus ES will be in Japan.

This is jus a car that is updated with the light bar !!
that is not the new model.!!!!
it’s just a light bar and decals on the headlights . And the fsport insert on the bottom next year is the release of the new ES which I’m gonna buy if it’s to my liking probably the next facelift and the second year so probably get it by2029/2030….
Btw the center console on the 2023 with the cup holders and no more track pad is a cheap replacement IMO..! Open cup holders are not good looking to me
I got the unicorn 2022 only year with the trackpad and touch screen with the closed cup holders which looks nice at night since it all lights up
It’s probably gonna be a hate or love thing when it comes out like the 7 series which when they said when it’s black it look good which’s means that it’s should a ugly design that black make it all looks hidden and please don’t get me started with the lighted grill on that thing

UAE and Saudi are the same. We get the chrome bar on the bottom part of the door and the handles. the lexus light on the floor. passenger side seat memory and rear controls for aircondition on the hand rest. We don't get the light bar I doubt its a refresh. I hope I'm wrong through

More pic leaks from China https://lexusenthusiast.com/2024/11/...s-spied-again/

They got the ls fogs, but the grille is more bland than the rx that was speculated.

I like the integration of the screen.
Also it looks like it has the electronic shifter and I like that.

The frankestein ***** are gone. I do not like them, but at least they provide a quick and easy way to change drive modes without having to fumble with the updated infotainment. That's a common complain on the RX sub-forum.

Hope they keep the drive modes as physical buttons/**** and don't upgrade to the E-Latch door system (RZ / NX / RX).
