‘21 ES350 lock weirdness
So if I get out of the car with my fob and leave the car running and my wife locks the doors from the inside (she has her fob), I cannot open the doors or trunk (except with the key) at all! She has to open the doors from the inside! What if she was choking or something & I needed to get in in a hurry? Is this normal behavior?
I can understand the logic of this hierarchy and it makes sense but maybe a tech could reprogram to allow co-control in this situation.
Does it make any difference that the car is running or not running?
Or if you lock the doors before getting out with door already open of course?
What if your wife used the switch on her door instead of using the fob to lock?
