They were and are optional. You mean install on one that didn't come equipped with them? The parts alone are incredibly costly. I don't know if they are plug n play though. Sort of doubt it. Originally Posted by DocEnuf

IIRC this question has been asked previously. Very expensive job. Do a search and you can get more info...
If you just want the look of them, you can DIY aftermarket them for about $1000 and 1-6 hours (depending on how quick you are with the bumper removal process). Keep in mind, the aftermarket ones are looks only, as they are not going to be as high quality nor have cornering.
An independent mech might put them in for you for an hour or two worth of labor, but I don't have experience with that.
The OEM ones would likely cost 3-5k.

I did a search prior to posting and nothing came up. I will look again. Sounds like I need to keuep looking for a car that comes with this option vs changing it out.Originally Posted by bc6152

AFter reading the other threads as well as this one. I am not going to try to change out headlights with Triple beam ones. I will just purchase a car that came with them. Thank you all for your replies and information.

I sure hope so because my triple beams are the best headlamps I've ever had in a car. I used to work in stage lighting and thinking about what they do and how well they do it (sleakness) is impressive.
