Equaliser and Pink noise/ Background noise calibration
Is there a way to get equaliser in the ES infotainment system?
I can only adjust mid/treble and bass. I think this sound system can improve if equaliser option was present.
Have you used equaliser apps with Android auto?

I am looking for something that is global (not only just one app specific).
If you tweak the equaliser via spotify, it won't work via another app like OpenRadio app for example..

Gotcha. Aside of that, almost positive that you can't. Please update if you find out though
If you have a Samsung Galaxy phone (Android) there is a global Equalizer under "Settings > Sounds and vibration > Sound quality and effects". At least my S22 Ultra has it.
I will give that a go..
It is only 9 channel so not that great.
I am surprised even the premium system does not have equaliser built into the infotainment system.

When in there, make sure to turn off "Dolby Atmos' and "Adapt Sound"; if available.
Why?
I got the surround turned on in the lexus settings.
Double the surround, double the clarity?
I personally like to hear music as close as intended by the recording studio master. It gives better perception of instruments, voices and nuances. The Galaxy Atmos & Lexus Surround setting process the sound to add an effect that was not originally recorded. IMHO this Atmos settings works better on headphones that on our non-atmos Lexus. I turned off the Lexus surround setting during the first week of ownership.
At the end it's a preference setting.
Edit: I do use high quality recordings FLAC / MP3 (320+ kbps) on my high quality ML system.
Also talking about the sound system..
Why do the rear speakers sound like they don't have enough power?
Is this how it is meant to be or is there something wrong with my ones?
