Default Time Projection For Arrival MY 2025

I'm noticing that my Lexus dealer has had a number of 2024 ES 350's in stock for several weeks now. Does that increase the possibility that the MY 2025, presumably the next generation model, will; be unveiled in July 2024?

I don't know about "unveiling." But the well-connected poster Carmaker1, whose insights can be found in Car Chat on this site, has more or less reported that the '25 most likely will actually become available sometime around November '24.

Did the article indicate if the 2025 car would be a new generation type model or one more year of Gen 7?

Well if Toyota stays with the 6 year spread it would be a gen 8 car...

Current Camry has moved to 7-year model cycle.

Well Shaboom maybe you'll have to wait until 2026 for next generation Lexus...

A new generation, but like the next Camry, more a heavy rework (sadly, subtracting the V6) than a total overhaul. It will almost certainly retain the same general dimensions as the current car, probably adding a variation on the six-side-windows look of the ES but otherwise not changing outside all that much.

May be I’ll buy the last 2024 then, as I find 7 Gen ideal. If the change is in 2026, all the better. I’ll pull the trigger in 2025. Gonna’ drive that last V-6 ES made, into my sunset…

Shaboom, I think you're already equipped to drive into the sunset with the ES you have, as am I. That's part of why we bought them. :.)

Today and in recent days, I've seen ES's of every generation still tooling around. Many of them, out to 25+ years old, still look pretty similar to the day they rolled off the showroom floor. I think our odds of joining their ranks are pretty good.

Sure you’re right. 5K miles/year here. At that rate my 2021 is very likely to outlive me!

We never know. The last Gen RX also went 7 years so Lexus doesn’t always follow that 7 year game plan.
