Professional mechanics all over YouTube will tell you do not go 10,000 miles even on the synthetic oil. I change mine every 5000 miles.
This is one of those topics where everyone will do their own thing. I'm in the 5k mile oil change crew and no one is changing my mind. My car, my money, my time, and my peace of mind.
This thread is probably going to get closed eventually

I still do not understand why change oil every 12 months. regardless of mileage. This is synthetic high quality oil used here. (I use Mobile one). I change oil near 8000 to 10000 mi. it takes 18 months or so to get there.
How can a high quality oil break down so fast? The a25a is not always running at high rev's. Maybe its left over advice from the 70's. back then when I had 5000 mi the oil looked bad and smelled. Now it is still clean and the filter is clean.

I drive a lot too. My 2022 F-Sport is just over 1 yr old and I have 46,700kms on it. It has seen +40 deg cel to -40 deg cel. I change mine at home every 10K kms, or about every 6250miles with a Lexus OEM filter and 5.4L of Pennzoil 0w20 Platinum Syn Oil. I chose to do the first break-in oil change at about 2000kms.
After I ordered the car, I bought 20 OEM Lexus oil filters from the local dealer here for about $155 CAD. That is an amazing deal. I buy the oil on sale at Canadian Tire and then get those $20 mail in rebates Pennzoil offers regularly, so it only costs me about $35-$40 CAD for the full change (oil & filter). Very cheap insurance to hopefully help keep the car running for many many years!
There is no harm and possibly has benefits when changing oil more often. If you want your car to last long time and extra cost is not a concern it makes sense to change oil more often.
manufacture also recommends to never change ATF fluid. Owner manual is not a bible.

Yeah, that's another fun topic. You can scour the forum and look through the posts for transmission failures. You'll see that a large portion of them come after someone changes their fluid. That said, I would still consider changing mine at 100k miles if I ever kept a vehicle that long.

I rarely keep a car beyond 100K miles but based on some friends high mileage experience, I'm not sure it's necessary to change - one guy has a 4Runner with roughly 250K miles on original trans fluid, another a Hyundai logged over 300K before the car was totaled in a wreck. My feeling is for under 100K, for sure don't mess with it.

All makes and models (ICE cars), on all forums, all brands, guys will grab eachothers throats at this topic. Same ol same ol back on the BMW boards. I've seen many fights over there in my days. Just say the word "oil" and the pitchforks come out.
Do what you want. More is more, less is less. If it matters to you, you'll know what to do.

Exactly - it's amazing how this thread is resurrected every few weeks on every forum out there.

Both Lexus service advisors I asked, strongly recommended 5k mi/6 mos. Also, my lifelong independent mechanic said the same thing. His theory was if you’re hoping to keep a $50,000 car for ten years or more, why play games over one extra oil change each year. I buy the oil and filter for $35 and he changes it out for $15. No brainer for me to visit him every 5,000 mi. or 6 mos, whichever comes first. Can’t be penny wise and pound foolish, as they say.
warranty trumps all talk.
Guess I will have to watch the calender.. I will never get enough mileage per year
If your 2022 ES 300h UL is equipped with navigation, there is an additional, more capable maintenance reminder system component in the multimedia system. With that system one can chose between setting an expiration date or a distance kilometers/miles countdown. When the date is reached or the distance countdown reaches 0 the system will display a maintenance reminder for that maintenance item on the 12.3 display. There are 12 predefined titled maintenance items (e.g., Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Rotation, etc.) and three "Personal" reminder items. See page 69 of the 2022 LEXUS ES250,ES300H,ES350 NAVIGATION AND MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM OWNER'S MANUAL for more details.
So, you can cover both the time and distance oil change warranty service intervals with your vehicle's reminder systems assuming it is equipped with navigation. Use the Multi Information Display's (MID) fixed 10000 mile interval oil change reminder to cover the warranty mileage interval and use the multimedia maintenance reminder Engine Oil and Oil Filter reminders to cover the warranty time period interval. (Also, unlike the MID's reminders where there's no means of displaying the remaining distance in the interval, with the multimedia maintenance reminders the remaining distance is always shown for distance reminders and similarly the expiration date for date based reminders.)

Why do you think that is? Like most things in life, you should consider the source for any advice you're being given. Ask yourself if the source has anything to gain by it. It should be "in your face" obvious that those people make easy money off of you by doing oil changes, unnecessarily. The owners manual, on the other hand, has advice coming from the manufacture. They've performed extensive testing to come to their conclusions. Wouldn't you think they have more to lose by telling you to wait until 10k mikes, or 12 months if it was harmful to your engine?
It's like when they show you that Lexus is the most reliable vehicle on the market, and then try and sell you an overpriced warranty.
