Default Anyone Try Powerstop Brakes?

My brakes have started making noise recently (42k miles). I think I might be due for a replacement.
Has anyone tried
Powerstop K8348 - Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads Powerstop K8348 - Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads
?
If so, can you share your thoughts on its performance?

I've only heard they're ok. If you're going aftermarket, StopTech street pack I've heard good things from multiple owners of different makes and cars.

I've actually used this exact set just a couple years ago on a 2003 Acura CL (RIP, my beloved). These are a great price, and a great product. 10/10 will buy again for my ES when the time comes.

I have always use OEM rotors and OEM brake pads bought online from Lexus or Toyota dealers. The last time I changed my front brakes on my 07 ES 350 I went with Akebono Ultra Premium Ceramic Disc instead of OEM but stuck with the OEM rotors. Akebono manufacture brake pads for several car companies including Toyota

Brakes are one of those things if you start mixing and matching brands and compounds rotors and pads etc, if you make one small mistake resulting in incompatibility, you are tearing everything back out and reinstalling the correct stuff all over again. So for that reason I stick to full professional stock. No need to mix and match here, it's not that type of car.

I've done all sorts of track, autox, canyon driving and installed every combination of pad and rotor under the sun and I regret most of it. So much work. Adult cars deserve adult brakes.

Ugghh..
Yeah, OEM is always the safe bet but this video is just insulting, really. A Toyota media production using cartoon scare tactics to keep people from buying aftermarket. Labeling all non-oem products as "counterfeit", and warning they "could be dangerous".
C'mon, Toyota, be better than that.
