Default HID Bulb Replacement

Has anyone removed and replaced their D4S bulbs? Just wondering how difficult it is without actually removing the bumper cover and headlight. Is it even possible?

No need to remove the bumper. It is very easy to replace.
This shows the HID bulb housing with the cover removed, I believe you twist the socket to be able to pull it out. See instruction and cautions.
This is the HID headlight housing with the cover on, it twists off.

Thank you so much for you response. I was able to figure it out in the dark the other night. Haha. Extremely easy, but the driver's side was a bit of a squeeze for my hands.

Are you replacing with stock bulbs or different ones?

Are these bulbs plug and play or is there some wiring install needed?

Which bulbs/kits are recommended?

You cannot simply change out a Halogen with a HID bulb. The sockets are different and the wiring may also be different. The lens might also be different.
