Default Headlight/2018 model

My first post here and need some guidance.

I have ES350/2018, passenger side headlight broke/outer glass.
All bulbs are intact and work (low, high, turn).

Q1- Should I get from assembly from dealer?
I see 3 parts list for headlights at dealer site, which one I need?
I have adaptive lights.

UNIT ASSEMBLY, HEADLAMP, RIGHT
GSV60
(Current price) $ 1,812.05

UNIT ASSEMBLY, HEADLAMP, RIGHT
GSV60
HEADLAMP-HI(LED) & WITH(*AHB)
HEADLAMP-HI(LED)
(Current price) $ 2,482.39

UNIT ASSEMBLY, HEADLAMP, RIGHT
GSV60
HEADLAMP-HI(LED) & WITH(AFS)
HEADLAMP-HI(LED) & WITH(AFS & *AHB)
(Current price) $ 2,731.23

Q2- Can i get OE replacement, I see for 650$ at carpart with assembly/bulb and it supports adaptive.
"Adaptive and LED headlights available when OE equipped, as well as xenon and halogen"

I'd go to a salvage yard and get a used assembly for cheap... Bring a jar of vaseline if you go to the dealer...

Q2: From a quick look, they seem to offer 2 different headlamps, $650 halogen, $800 LED.
Ebay seems to have some decent used options.

I checked ebay - Some Light fits but doesn't support adaptive or LED.
also Amazon, no good options.

car-part is listing part (As OE) for 650 with bulbs (their list is $1250).

How is OE part? How does car warranty work, if something goes wrong with wiring or other light component, can lexus deny repair under warranty because an OE part was used? I still have 6 months of factory warranty.

That car-part is likely your best deal for a direct correct replacement. You could hit them up for what's the best price if I buy it now and see what they say? I would not worry about the Lexus warranty. You sure the car-part id the Adaptive one?

I don't think the ones shown are adaptive. From what I also see on RockAuto, most OE aftermarket seem to be the non adaptive type.
None of the ones I find state they are adaptive. I would give them a call to verify.

Also there are sometimes ones cheaper on Ebay with a few broken Tabs. Its easy to get some epoxy glue and mend them just like new to work perfect.

description from carparts.com site:Modern Technology
  • Adaptive and LED headlights available when OE equipped, as well as xenon and halogen.
I'll call and check if I order from them.

I'll check with some dealer for OEM, they sell ~1100 range. Car-part site is another option at $650.
I have called few dealer in my area to get exact part number, none of them has responded back yet.

Most install run ~200$.

You guys are awesome, thanks for all the tips.
