Default RC350 Headlight Bulb Replacement

So driver side headlight went out at after about 27k miles and I called Lexus, they said the actual bulbs are "unservicable" and I would need to replace the whole assembly, which is about 1700$. Wondering if there is any other option? That seems crazy to me.

A bit related to what you're asking about servicing your headlights - watch this video below and this is as close as you can get to them bulbs.
