Default Positioning of rear jack stands?

What's the positioning along the frame rail that y'all typically place rear jack stands? (Picture included for reference.) In particular, I'm wondering if it's okay to put them a bit farther back than shown in the picture, to move it farther away from the car's center of gravity. Thoughts?

With the engine and transaxle weight all up front above the front wheels, you don’t have anything to worry about using the manufacturer recommended position.
