Hello all- after driving in some rain several days ago our 13 ES with 49k miles is still showing an error message "Check Park Sonar System" in the center display and "Check the parking assist sensor" on the nav screen. There is also a white circle with a red slash on both displays. How would I diagnose this myself, besides taking it to a dealer? Thanks

 

If you haven't already, get a damp cloth and wipe each sensor gently. This happened to me just the other day after a heavy rain and each sensor looked fine. So I took a clean cloth and wiped each one gently. The warning went away and hasn't returned...

 

Yeah I tried cleaning them and unfortunately that didn't work. I'm guessing it's probably a bad sensor, but I'm not sure how to tell which one.
