Hey guys,

What is the association between a 2015 ES model and headlights? I.e would a fully loaded or close to fully loaded ES300h have HIDs or halogens? Would a base ES have HIDS or halogens? Also are there 3 headlight types for this car? (HID, XENON HID, AND HALOGEN)

I know of 2 types for the 2013 to 2015 models, HID and Non-HID. It is easy to tell the type you have by looking at the back of the light. I have posted photos on this site showing the back of the HID type..

 

Only two types that I know of. You can also determine the type you have by looking on the MSRP sticker - it will say "HID" if you have them, or, turn them on and you'll hear a humming noise if they're HID. No humming if halogen...

 

Look here at the photos and compare to what you have, if they match, you have HID.
