HID Lamps worth upgrade?
Hey all, looking at two different CPO 2012 ES 350's. One is the base package and the other has HID lamps, parking sensors, Nav, and power rear sunshade.
The Nav is worthless to me (smartphone for that), and parking sensors and power sunshade are nice but not essential, but wondering if I'll kick myself not going for the HID lamps over the stock.
Anyone who has seen both, is the difference worth it?
Also, is the stereo at all upgraded between the base and the Nav stereo, or is that just the separate ML upgrade?
edit: also looking at 2013 for about $1500 more than higher optioned 2012, but seeing opinions of others saying they're not wild on the 2013 from a quiet commuter perspective. Thoughts?
Thanks all.

Take the 2013.

From a comuter's standpoint, both are about the same in regard to ride quality and soundproofing. The 2017 models are supposed to be improved in these areas.
I vote like I always do when it's between a 5th and 6th gen- go for the 2013. The 5th gen has been using an almost identical design (most people on the street wouldn't know the difference) since 2007. The 2013 will have the same engine and transmission but will look a lot newer especially in years to come.
Also, I'll never go back to halogen headlights after having HIDs. I did once on an accord when I crossed over and felt like I had flashlights up front. If you have a commute where you drive a lot pre dawn like me, there's another reason to have them.
