Default Tire Pressure Alarm + Rain Sensor

Hello Guys,

I recently bought a 2010 ES350 and I am very happy with car.
I have 1 Question and 1 comment.

1) The Tire pressure (TPMS) light came out few days ago where the temperature have dropped ( Winter is coming ) and thus the tire pressure. I have read many threads and the manual. People are talking about re-setting the system to a new set point through the push button hiding under the steering wheel. I believe I don't need a new set point. the current set point works fine for me and it alarmed me accurately when the temperature dropped.
Simply I want to add pressure and have the light go away. Current the pressure is 30PSI, but I suspect the spare tire is the one causing the alarm.

Will the light go away when I add pressure ( including the spare) or I have to do the reset process. I did not find an answer for this simple question in the manual ?

2) The rain sensor does not allow you to control the wiper speed manually. The wipers are running too fast in AUTO mode even if I select the lowest sensitivity and the rain is light.I don't need that speed and there is a very slight difference between the min and max. senstivity.
Moreover, the low speed mode is too fast for me and it is distracting. I never wanted to use either low or high speed ( which is crazy fast). I dont know when or where would you need this speed.

I have a Toyota where I can select the wiper timing manually which is way more convenient for me.

Any body in the same boat not happy with the rain sensor ?

Thanks

For TPMS, check all 5 pressures. If you don't want to reset the learned pressure, just increase the one you know is triggering the condition (likely the spare, been there done that.) It may take a little bit of drive time (a few minutes) for the light to go out from what I've read on here. Or you can just reset the set point after filling them to whatever pressure you want the set point to be at.

No experience in the ES with the rain sensor; mine doesn't have it.

I have a 2010 with the rain sensor. If you twist the intermittent speed on the stalk that will slow down the speed in Auto mode. I had to play with it for awhile to finally get it set where I like it. I also found it is worth cleaning the windshield including area around the sensor and applying RainX. That slowed it down significantly.
