Greetings All,

2007 Es350 was driven through some deep water. Report is on the cars in front the water was splashing about half way up the doors. Now I have a report that some of the dash lights are out. Then later the same day back on and now out again. Which connector blocks are likely to have gotten water in them? I would like to find this soon to avoid any corrosive action caused by the damp conditions. It is about time for spark plugs so I might have some good access near the firewall.

So it sounds like the back lights don't work but the electronics do eg speedo etc. The lights in the dash that do work are the shift indicator, turn signals and the headlight indicator light, Starting to look like a fuse,,,I'll have to check that when I get a chance this weekend,

Has anybody experienced this?

Got to drive the car this weekend, Got in and the dash lights were on and stayed on for the duration of the trip. On the return the dash lights were off, Hmmm. It turns out the the dash dimmer was on the cusp of on and off. Bumped it up a notch or two and no issues after that, Glad I did not go to the dealer and sad I bothered you all

and u know that if u have the headlights on auto that also controls the dash lights, ie when u go thru a tunnel for example in daylight the headlights and dashlights also come on, then both go off when u exit the tunnel
