I think he's looking for a new 2012.

I would say you should be able to get an ES with nav, ($42k or so sticker) for under $37k.

The way you get a good price is the way you do with any car, email around to your local dealers and ask for price quotes. Let them know you're shopping for the best deal. The offers will start coming in.

Not in my opinion. You should be able to do better than that used 2011 on a brand new one.

I paid about $36,000 for my ES with a sticker of $41,215 in 2010. Now, there was a $1k rebate at the time, so that brings the price to $37k.

Very little effort getting to that price. That was in July.

Like mentioned, you should be able to easily buy a $42K new '12 ES w/NAV for that $37900 and less.
There has to be a manufacturer to dealer incentive on the '12's.
There's over 5K ES350's nationwide on cars.com.
Dealers have to get rid of these cars before the new generation ES arrives so there are great deals on them.

Check Lexus.com and see if your fine with an older model. The new model coming out looks slick! just make sure you dont end up with buyers remorse. If you like the current style then used this knowledge to wedge a deal on 2012s.

Also look for used 12's. You can find some with low miles ranging anywhere from a few hundred miles to 8k and itll come with its original factory warranty and Lexus certified preowned warranty. Its a double bonus, not to mention the lowered price since its used and the one free complementary oil change from lexus

Just got my certified 2012 is 250 for 32k instead of a brand new one for 36,500. Came with only 2k miles on it!

Use truecar.com to determine the fair buy price for the exact car and options you are looking at buying.

just bought the car guys...I paid $37K plus tax tile with drive out of $40,500. I was getting a drive out of $39,250 from out of town dealership but this local one is giving me 2 years of maintenance warranty so that will pay for itself.
