Nav version in 2010 ES350
not the latest, that will come in new es in 2012
but a big improvement over the 2007-9, because of the mid cycle refresh in 2010.
Most Lexus body styles last for a 6-7, before a new upgraded body style comes out. At the midpoint of 3 years there are upgrades.
what has changed?
greatly improved voice recognition
traffic
blue tooth streaming ability with Pandora or similar
ipod control
the latest version adds a joy stick instead of a touch screen, personally I like the touch screen

The nav version in my 2010 (purchased 2/10) is 9.1 there may be a newer version out by now.
If you buy a car be sure to research to see if there is a newer version available. If the car has been on the lot for a while make sure that it has been updated to the newest version before purchase.

Man...mine is I believe 9.1. It's 2010 model and had been in the lot since 2 months ago. Do you guys know if 9.1 and 10.1 are so much different? How about the list of improvement that jgcec mentioned? Is it there in 9.1? Thanks.
My guess is that 10.1 has some updated POI's and maybe some road updates. Probably not a lot of difference.
You might have 10.1, it's been out a while.
Thanks LexBob2. I'll double check mine later today. Now you make me doubt myself
But I think the Nav said 10.1 upgrade, does it mean it's telling us there's 10.1 upgrade available or the system has been upgraded to 10.1?

It might be telling you that it's available. I think I've receieved that message too. Unless there are big changes, it's pretty pricey, IMO, to update versions.
