Why set the time zone in Navigation system?
I'm assuming there is a clock somewhere, but I can't seem to figure out how to enable the display of any clock. So why have a setting for time zone?

And it doesn't work if you don't set the time zone? Under.
I set mine to the time zone 3 zones away, works fine, but no clock impact. I thought that maybe the digital clock was linked to it, but it does not.
On previous navigation systems (Acura, Mazda) it displayed a clock --- part of the signal received is a time signal and the time zone was set to display the correct local time (as an off-set from the satellite time, probably in GMT). The advantage is that it is an extremely accurate clock.
This Lexus display seems to be missing the clock.
Not a huge deal, but seems odd to have the settings option to me.
