Here are the latest pic.s:

These are Japanese market versions that could provide great clues as to what the U.S. version will look like.

According to http://thehollywoodextra.blogspot.com/,

Those pics are the Toyota Mark X, not the Camry or ES.

Cool

Ditto.
The Mark-X has nothing of note in common with the Camry platform.
If the ES is to remain a cheaply built entry luxury car (cheapest way is still to build it off the Camry) It will have nothing to do with the Mark-X other than your typical OEM parts bin items.

I guess you "ditto"ed too soon! Here are the actual pic.s of the 2007 Camry.

Note the rear end, and the subtle line that starts right above the rear tail light continuing all the way to the hood. Amazaing how similar they are now.

Also take a look at the rear passenger windows. I guess now you get the point which as originally stated in my post: "that could provide great clues as to what the U.S. version will look like".

Yes they could be. After looking at all the spy photos to date, I strongly believe that the Camry pic.s are what we'll be seeing on the streets next June.
I know ES350 would look different like it always has, but these are the best clues we have so far.
I personally love the design and hope it makes it's way here.

Finally some decent pic.s of Camry for 2007:

Looks great to me. Let's see if the curtain would go up on the ES in the near future.

Yup, I think we have enough clues as to what styling the ES will have, you just need to use your imagination.

Examples:
2007 Camry
Mark-X
LF-SH
5 Series

Take the new Camry and apply some Lexus L-Finesse. Think of the front on the LF-SH concept mixed with the new Camry. Then look at the Mark-X rear, along with the Camry, 5 Series and LF-SH. That should cover it.

Default When will we see the new ES?

What concerns me is that we're not seeing any, and I mean any information leak on the new ES.... So either Lexus is keeping things very tight lipped on this or we're not as close to a reveal as we might hope. I'm praying that it comes out in January at Detroit.........

Spy shots!? Japanese magazine photos!? First hand accounts of a viewing!?

Anyone!?

Cool

http://babelfish.altavista.com/ - To translate.
Here is where those pics Dallas posted came from.
4wd/awd is still an option on the gen6 Camry paltform. It has been since the Gen2 Camry. Obivously, this will most likely mean nothing for North America, as we haven't seen the AWD Camry platform since a few gen2s made the trip over.

All of the information is the same, as 90% of it comes from the same sorce (auto-g).

http://www.carpages.ca/go/autonews/t..._for_2007.aspx

Looks way better than the gen4/5 (Camry platform), but I think it still needs nose work. The front 1/4 of the car still falls in the ugly side of the coil & the rest of the car (From the A-pillars back) is just pretty generic. Looks like most sendans to me. Then again it wouldn't look so bad if it were in a real color... Like black. WTF is up with mint-o-green LoL!

It's cool to see that the Hybrid i4 Camry's will have 192bhp & they are using the 2GR-FE from the Avalon (That's the 2gr-fe detuned from 306bhp to 280bhp. Remember that SAE horsepower figures have changed, so that 280bhp the way most of us think of it equals 268hp now.)
A hybrid ES 350 would sell. I hope they make some!

But so far, pretty much everything anybody thought is right so far.
