Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can offer any advice on the best source for rebuilt transmissions for the 5ES. (Outside of toyota/lexus for their markup)

Does anyone know where toyota sends off their rebuilds? Can we reach them directly?

There are different options. I read some discussions on rebuilt transmission. They said it is not usually rebuilt well and no guarantee it will not go bad. I also think when they say rebuild it does not mean every part is new, they just inspect and replace bad one with new seals. The best option would be to go with the low-mileage transmission.
