Hey folks, i'm having an issue with the operation of the menu screen on my 2013 ES350. When I click MENU,, then SETUP, then VEHICLE, its fine, but then the VEHICLE CUSTOMIZATION button comes up dimly lit, and will not operate. I hope I'm missing something simple and you good people might help? Thanks

Something simple. Doesn't work in ACC mode. Start the engine and try it then while parked.

Or just turn the ignition ON without starting the engine (keep foot off brake when hitting START button twice).

A setting to consider changing, Auto Door Lock. Default was to lock when you pull out of Park.
Enable the Auto Door Lock "with speed" to On and turn the out of Park to "Off".
When I move the car from garage to driveway or street to garage I don't need it to lock the doors.
When picking up a passenger that gets in while I'm in gear, the default setting would not lock
because I didn't go in or out of Park. With the new settings the doors lock once we're moving.

I prefer the doors to lock when taking it out of park. Don't want to run the risk of some crazy person trying to jump in the car before it gets moving.
