Did it. Decided not to do a tutorial because I wasn’t sure this would be something for most ES owners.
Headlight lenses were spider cracked very badly. I have AFS headlights so didn’t want to buy a set of the housings for $500 ish. Decided just to buy new clear plastic lenses for $88 a piece. Had to bake them in the oven 9 minutes at 210°F to open them up. While I did that, figured I might as well paint them on the way. You must let the paint fully cure before installing lens again. Also the sticker might cause issues with outgassing and that is yet to be seen, so cannot recommend yet, that may be why you don’t see stickers inside housings more often also. Full disclosure, there is orange peel I didn’t address because I really didn’t want to mess around inside the headlight more than I had to. Also wired up some LED DRL/sequential turn signals while I had the bumper torn off. Lexus badge was just an idea I had. I know this isn’t for everyone, happy to help anyone who might want to tackle the same job. Do NOT attempt this without researching a bit. Will take a weekend.
