Haven't posted anything in here for a long time. Did a headlight build for my dad's LS460. Figured I'd share it here.

Picked up some Pivot LED strips. 12" to be exact.



The 12 inch is a little long so you will have to cut and solder it to make it fit the bottom LED.

The plan is to install the LED strip into this bottom section of the stock headlight and make it into a functioning switch back.





Scary part of course is opening the headlights and installing the lights.

Good job, do you have any pictures with the headlights mounted on the car?

 

How reliable are these things? I'd like to do something similar but will not be pleased if they die forcing me to bake the housings again.
