so, i searched threads before asking, but maybe just missed it cuz im sure someone has had to have asked this before, but here goes LOL
i have the top model remote start that viper offered last year (two remotes, one small for summer usage and the larger rechargeable 2 way comms unit) and it works just fine, only issue is that when you have the car RS'd and open the door, the engine shuts off, and i was told thats just how it works with push button starts.

is there a way to make it to where the RS doesnt turn off when you open the door?

hell, id rather have a key if this is the way it is with push button starts

This is one BIG complaint with Toyota/Lexus... FYI - Not all manufacturers remote start systems do this. Acura for one...

 

C7 Corvette doesn't shut off, so it's not a button issue.
