I recently had the trunk of my 95 es 300 hundred repainted and while the shop was removing the trunk they broke my rear right lexus emblem, I actually perfer the look of it without the emblem but the only problem is there are now two holes left where the emblem plugged into the trunk, any suggestions or hiding them, or remounting a new emblem?
I had the same thing with the holes filled them w/ filler
I was told later that the filler will fall in the hole and ruin the paint job (which i mucked up and was why i was asking a body shop to fit it up)
should weld the holes up it will cost alot less to do than the $400 that i now have to pay for a new boot lid and the holes welded up and painted
oh well live and learn

JDM (Japan Domestic Market???) Taillight assemblies for the Japan version of the ES300 ( the Windom) are available on Ebay. Pretty expensive, but no badges, it looks like....
Makes me wanna live with ES300 badge on taillight - or do something more custom, like saw out those corner badge areas and electro-weld in some drop down color coordinated reflectors to reveal laser guns for those pesky buzzing Acuras and Soooooobacruizers.....
